I took a break from missing home but no one said I’d be gone for this long. With an empty throat and a poem to scream, ‘these word must rhyme!’ oh this child he climbs in me.
From a park where I made some friends well its been some time I must pretend with the stranger faces i’ve met. I call them friends, I’ll call them what I want to. Whatever makes sense is never a possibility.

My sisters made some lemonade they put too much coffee I’m afraid, I still had a cup or three.
We cracked an egg one summer day on the sidewalk where our chalk would lay rubbing off on our jeans.
